1 12” submarine roll
10 oz Pizza Sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz sliced Italian salami
8 sweet basil leaves cut into 2-3 pieces per leaf
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F/200 degrees C.
- Lay a sheet of parchment paper over a baking sheet.
- Slice the bread in half lengthways and lay it on the parchment paper with the soft side up.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bread.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the tomato sauce.
- Top with the salami and basil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
